CCD operates a variety of subsidized youth employment programs for eligible participants between the ages of 14 and 24. These programs offer paid work experience combined with work readiness and personal enrichment training, professional development workshops and financial education.

Every 10th and 25th of the month, until you've completed your hours.

Our Process

Step 1: Application

Complete our online application. An intake specialist will be contacting you soon thereafter, with your eligibility status.

Step 2: Work Readiness Workshop

After enrollment, you will complete a paid 20 hour virtual workshop.

Step 3: Work Experience

Our worksite coordinator will meet with you to discuss your career goals and internship opportunities.

LA County residents within the ages of 14-24 who have the right to work in the United States.
  • Photo Identification: Ex. School ID, State ID, or Passport
  • Social Security Card
  • Birth Certificate
  • Proof of Residency
  • Library Card
  • Work Permit (Required for minors only)
  • High School Diploma or High School Transcripts (If applicable)
  • Registered for Selective Service (If applicable)
Youth who successfully enroll into our Youth Employment Program, will receive an hourly wage of $15.
Paid work experience will began after a successful enrollment occurs. Participants who are minors will engage in a Paid Personal Enrichment Training for 20 hours, prior to beginning the paid work experience component.
Youth who do not have previous work experience are welcomed to apply. We are here to further introduce and guide youth to the world of work.
